Total Time: 25 minutes
Servings: 6
Ingredients:
• 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
• 1 pound (453.5 g) boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
• 1 medium green bell pepper, cut into small bite size strips
• 1 box Hamburger Helper® four cheese lasagna
• 1½ cups hot water
• 1 can (14½ oz – 411 g) diced tomatoes, undrained
• 1 can (4 oz – 113 g) Green Giant® mushroom stems and pieces, drained
• ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Method:
- In a 10-inch skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Cook the chicken and bell pepper in butter, stirring occasionally, until the outside turns white.
- Stir in the uncooked pasta and sauce mix (from Hamburger Helper box), water, tomatoes and mushrooms. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat; cover and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender. Remove from the heat; sprinkle with the cheese.
- Cover; let stand for 5 minutes (the sauce will thicken as it stands).
